Giveaway - Celebration Flock of Cranes


SisterBatik fabric origami cranes are folded using 100% Dutch wax print Cotton in a celebration of colours and patterns. 

These make fantastic wedding and celebration favors as special keepsakes from the occasion.  Or thoughtfully added to any gift box for a special touch.  Also great for decorating an event tree or hung on branches and perfect table adornment; making great place card holders.  At home, they also look stunning as a collection in a beautiful vase and can look magical hung on a mobile.

Mix set of 12 cranes - wing span measure 2" - 5".  These are folded to keep their shape.
*May not be exactly the same as those pictured but very similar selection.

    These cranes remind me of an installation at the MOrgan library by Xu Bing (http://schulmanart.blogspot.com/2011/07/five-more-art-shows-to-round-out-your.html)
    characters that gradually metamorphose into birds as they ascend to the ceiling. I would love to use your origami as a sophisticated mobile. ( although I am afraid my cat would destroy them)

    i am actually making paper origami cranes for my daughter because here in Japan, there is an ancient legend that if you fold 1,000 origami cranes, the crane would grant your wish such as long life or recovery from illness or injury. it is also a good luck charm.
